Why are we different?
At Mediated Solutions, we believe that every participant has value. So, the key to resolving their issues is
- understanding the needs and interests of the participants (on both sides) and,
- orienting possible solutions to the actual needs of those individuals.
Some problems can't be solved by simply throwing money at them. Sometimes it takes a creative solution. Sometimes it just takes an apology. Mediated Solutions looks at the people, not just the problem.
What is The Mediated Solutions Group?
The Mediated Solutions Group was founded on the principle that people want to be heard. As Abraham Lincoln said, "Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can." Mediated Solutions operates on the premise that if people are given a chance to be heard, most problems can be resolved. The Mediated Solutions Group offers that opportunity to be heard and to honestly and openly resolve issues and bring them to a close.
Without a doubt, the dispute in front of you—be it business, personal, divorce, an estate contest, whatever it may be—is the most important dispute in your life. Shouldn't it be treated with the same level of importance by everyone involved be it a judge, the other party, or an attorney? Whether the issue gets resolved or not, shouldn't you feel as if someone actually listened to you?
Patrick Lalor, LLM
For 20 years, Patrick Lalor was privileged to serve this country an an aircrewman in the United States Navy. He had the privilege of exploring countless countries and immersing himself in diverse cultures. That experience laid the groundwork for seeing people as they are in real life and to treat them as individuals.
Patrick holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University. The Straus Institute is recognized as the number one-ranked school in the country for dispute resolution in the country.
